Writing - Using interesting words.

Last week I traveled on a train with Nana. I heard the engine rumbling. When we hit the tunnel it was spooky. It went super fast until it slowed down for the people that were waiting at the station for a long time.

Writing - 5W Poems

We wrote 5 W poems last week.
A 5 W poem has 5 lines which answer 5 of our question words crating a poem. It helps us to record lots of details.

Line 1 = Who
Line 2 = What
Line 3 = When
Line 4 = Where
Line 5 = Why

Here are some examples:

The ducks
Floated down the rapids
In a big lake
In summer
Because they were hot.
By Ollie

The giraffes
Munch on a juicy sweet leaf
In the morning for breakfast
At the amazing zoo
Because they were hungry.
By Shaynae

Miss Brown
Got told off
Yesterday
In Mr Baldwin's office
For giving us homework.
By Taine

The dog
Bit me
On Friday
At Home
Because I was annoying him.
