Creative Writing

We have been writing creative, imaginary stories in Room 1 and learning to use adjectives. We found out that an adjective is a fancy name for a describing word and that they make our writing sound interesting!!

Our stories needed to:
*describe the person in the story (the character)
*describe where the story takes place (the setting)
*include something that goes wrong (a problem)
*include how the problem gets fixed (a solution)

Our Volcano

Throughout the term we made our very own volcano. There were a lot of different steps and it took a long time! We got tired of doing the paper mache. Our favourite bit was making it explode! Watch our video to see photos of the volcano being made, testing different explosions andthe volcano erupting!
