This week both Matthew and Kathryn found some interesting bugs at home and brought them in to show the class. Matthew found a Huhu Beetle and Kathryn a Leaf Bug - unfortunately Miss Brown didn't take any photos :(. We found out the Huhu beetle does not eat and only lives for two weeks! Matthew had a cool container to keep the bugs in which had a magnifying glass so we could see them up close - they look creepy! EWWWW!
