On Thursday Room 1 children had free choice writing. They could write about anything they wished but they had to use exciting adjectives and verbs to help describe their ideas.
Brmm! Smash! I slam my door. Crunch, crunch, the sand squishes under my feet. I scamper over to the wavy beach. "Haylee you have to put on your togs" my mum shouted. So I rushed back to zip them on. "Finally" I said. I sprinted back across the sandy beach. Splash! I dived into the salty beach. I grabbed my dark blue boogie board and sailed along the wavy water.

Paper Art
We have been learning how to make cool looking art out of paper with Mrs Woodward. We have been twirling, twisting, scrunching, folding and cutting paper to make pictures.
We are now working on a different type of paper art called Weaving.

Maths - Measurement
Maths: Measurement - Weight on PhotoPeach
We had fun learning how to measure the weight of different things. We had lots of different activities to help us learn about the weight of objects and using the scales. We decided it is important to know how to measure things especially when it comes to baking!
