- They don't like the light and they don't like too much rain - Kushla.
- When you hold worms you need to wear gloves because our bare hands will burn their skin - Holly.
- The food goes in its mouth and is squeezed to it's gizzard where it is ground down and then it comes out its tail end - Boyd.
- Worms pretend to be dead when we pick them up because they don't like the light - Jess.

Science
Can you blow up a balloon without using your mouth??? We can!!! The balloon is being filled up with a gas.
Today we learned about solids, liquids and gases. We learned that you can't really see a gas. Air (oxygen) is a gas. When we breathe we take in oxygen and blow out another gas called carbon dioxide. The trees do the opposite - we need each other to survive.
A liquid is something you can pour (like water). A solid is something you can hold (like ice).
Chocolate is a solid but if we melt it we would make a liquid.
