Descriptive Writing

The Giraffe
This giraffe has a long tongue. They have beady eyes. Giraffes are spotty like chicken pox. Their horns are big and fat. The tail is long and skinny and fluffy.

The Elephant
The elephant has big floppy ears. He's grey like the concrete. He has super sharp tusks. He has crinkly skin like Grandma and Grandad's.

The Pig
The pig is as pink as a marshmallow. It has got a big nose. It is massive.

Oral Language

We have been learning to ask questions after people have shared their news. This makes sure we are listening and thinking about what is being said. At first we found asking questions confusing and got them mixed up with comments. We think we are pretty good at it now!
