Walking on the Footpath

Watch out for sneaky driveways when you're on the footpath. First you have to stop then you have to peer down the driveway. See if any cars are coming.
Be sensible when you're on the footpath.
Stay on the house side when you're on the footpath. Do not go near the kerb!
The oldest has to be on the roadside, they are really sensible.
The youngest person at the front, and the oldest at the back, so everybody can see.
Look where you're going so you don't crash into rubbish bins!

Today, Room 1 children and some parents walked to school together from the Brightwater Hall. We used our Pedestrian Road Safety knowledge to keep ourselves safe as we strolled along the footpath and crossed the roads safely. It was a lot of fun walking to school because we chatted with our friends and were given a badge or bag tag. We are going to do it again next Wednesday too!

Walking to School Again!

Room 1 walked to school today. Mum came with me and I was late but I was just in time. You walked with you're buddy. When we came back to Room 1 we

got a tattoo.      Cole
We walked to school two times. We lined up in a big line. I liked walking to school.        Ashton

  1. It was a lovely sunny day to have our walk. I had fun walking with you and I look forward to seeing you all again next Wednesday. Remember when you cross the road, don't just follow, always look and check for yourself if it is safe to cross!
