Suter Gallery and Museum Visits

Wow! we had such an amazing time last week. First we visited the Suter gallery and there was lots of different maori people and containers made of clay. The people only had three fingers. After we had a look at everything our class went to a small room with some adults. The lady gave us a piece of clay each and we weren't allowed to play with it. Our first job was to make a ball and squeeze it into a star with five points - Patrick Star! We made a head, two arms and two legs.
Room 1 and 2 had lunch at the Queen's Gardens and there were ducks everywhere because they wanted our food.
At the Museum Nicky told us lots about plants and so did some parents. Sue helped us do sketching, Rosa's made told us about the food chain, Lucy W's Dad taught us about native plants and Lucas's Mum showed us the parts of plants. We all learned lots of new things.
