Space

We have been learning about the 9 planets in the Solar System, also our moon and the sun.
These are the craters that we made.
Mr B showed us how the planets stay in orbit around the sun by turning a bucket of water in a circle really fast and no water came out because of the centrifugal force - it was really cool to watch.
Yesterday Room 1 did a really fun experiment. Craters on the moon are formed by asteroids, meteorites or comets when they collide with the surface. The craters will never erode away because there is no wind or rain on the moon.
