Today for topic we found out that water is even older than the dinosaurs!!! It keeps going around and around in a cycle called The Water Cycle.
We read The Magic School Bus story about a class who gets turned into water and they go through the water cycle! It would be crazy to be in that class!
We then made a poster displaying the water cycle by putting the pictures, arrows and words in the right place.
We learned some big words like:
evaporation (when the sun heats up and turns the water into a gas which you can't see and it goes into the sky)
condensation (when the gas in the sky gets cold and turns back into a liquid and forms a cloud)
precipitation (when the water in the clouds gets too heavy and drops the water back into the earth - either as rain, hail or snow).
It looks like you are doing great learning about the water cycle.
