Water Cycle Writing

Yesterday we learned about the Water Cycle. Today we looked at the cycle again and during writing we had to describe what happens to the water. Here are three of our descriptions.

The water goes around and around in a circle. It starts in the sea and then it turns into gas and then it turns into clouds and then it rains on the mountains and it keeps going around.
Harry

Water has been around for a long time since the dinosaurs! The water first starts on the ground and then the sun heats it up and then it floats into the sky. Then it turns into clouds and then it rains. Then is falls onto the mountains and then it goes to the lakes and then it goes to the rivers and then it goes to sea and it keeps going around in a circle.
Reichen

The water was here before the dinosaurs came. It starts on the ground then goes up because of the sun. The wind blows the water into the clouds. When the cloud gets heavy the water turns into rain or snow.
